Dieter and Jean Klier

Dieter Klier and his wife Jean are managing the Village. Dieter and Jean are members of Calvary Lutheran Church and are part of the Pastoral Assistants Team. Dieter has retired from a career in sales and marketing to become Manager. Dieter has an Arts Diploma and is looking forward to the Art Workshop at the Village to share his love of art. They have three grown children and four grandchildren. Both Dieter and Jean have a loving and caring nature and have strong Christian values.

The Management Team

Philip Kibby (Chairman) - is a civil engineer and his career has largely been within the oil industry, specifically focusing on major project development and implementation. Phil has also served as Treasurer and Church and Parish Management Committee Chairman for a fellow congregation.
Stephen Pietsch BBus, ACA - is past chairman and one of the founding members of the Calvary Retirement Development and Management Committees. He is currently a Director of ECH Pty Ltd and is a board member of and advisor to a number of private companies. He has had previous roles in senior management and spent 14 years with Deloitte Consulting.
Ingrid Arnold - has been a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Greensborough, since her arrival in Australia in 1983. She holds a degree in early childhood development and music education, and actively participates in the Children's Ministry at Calvary. Ingrid also specialises in many arts and crafts disciplines.
Rev Brett Kennett BTh, Dip Min - pastor of Calvary and Thomastown Lutheran Churches. After completing an engineering degree, Pastor Brett worked for a multinational computer company and in radio. He was ordained in 1998 and formerly served at Mackay Community Lutheran Church, North Qld. He has been at Greensborough and Thomastown for over three years. He enjoys playing the guitar and has an interest in high-performance slot-car racing.
Karen Thompson-Caulley BSc, DipEd - retired Director of Students and accounting teacher of Luther College, past Chairman, Secretary and currently Vice Chairman of Calvary Lutheran Church. She has had previous roles in banking, retail sales, personnel management and food services.
Mark Sefton - retired after 37 years as a financial planner with Colonial Mutual Financial Planning. He and his wife Christine have been members of Calvary since 1976.
John Bothe is a member and organist of the Calvary Lutheran Church. He is a professional engineer, retired after more than 40 years' service with the Department of Defence. John has many practical skills, assists in maintenance and acts as a locum manager of the Retirement Village.
